After 78 years and seven reinventions, I finally put it all down—what works, what doesn’t, and what it really takes to start again.
Here’s what I’ve learned:
It’s never too late.
Credentials are overrated.
There are no small moments.
Reinvention is a skill.
If you’re thinking about your next chapter… this book is for you.
This is a fabulous book! It’s heartwarming and relatable as I have gone through several “shifts” in my life..I highly recommend reading this book!
This is an extraordinary book! Jay is such an incredible storyteller with stories that made me laugh, cry & truly enjoy being alive!! I loved hearing all his paths & constant shifting to keep reinventing himself. HIGHLY reccomended to anyone who loves to feel alive!
I was so excited to get my hands on this book! I was lucky enough to read the first couple of chapters before the book was complete and have to say I was immediately sucked into Jay’s story. I didn’t want to put the book down! It’s so well written! I’m not yet finished but had to write a review because it is just so good so far! Highly recommend!
This is the book you hope to find in the self help section, not too big, not too small, just right. Don’t let its slim size deter you. Jay's writing is just like great advice from someone who has actually lived it. Accessible, authentic and ultimately, inspiring. I happen to be in the early stages of my “3rd Act”, always curious. Jay’s book has given me just the right amount of inspiration to move forward, comfortably in my own skin. Chapter 22, entitled “Lee”, happens to tell the story of Jay’s late wife and one of my favorite childhood friends, as they live through her illness and death. It is sad, hopeful and real. Again, there’s much to learn from a big life told briefly! Well Done..
